Potential Future Visits

We need more names to make the following viable:

June, our planned visit to Hastings for a day at the seaside as requested.  Lots to see and do: RNLI museum, funicular railway, fisherman's smoke huts and museum, learn about the 'winkle club'.  We may visit ' Battle', the 1066 battle is depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry.

July, Friday 3rd - Kent County Show, cattle, horse jumping, produce exhibits to name a few, similar to new Forest show that we have been to.

August/September - we may bring forward Buckingham Palace if possible.

Many of the venues do not have tickets on sale yet, so those who express interest will be informed as and when we manage to book.

A good number of names have been received for:

Thursford Show, 3-night stay November 2027, staying in Norwich.

Houses of Parliament, January 2027.

Brick Lane Adult Panto, February 27 (very popular).

Weald & Down Museum (Repair Shop Barn).

Bayeux Tapestry @ British Museum.

Hendon Aircraft Museum and Angels Costumiers (only 15 places). Angels Costumiers is an amazing visit, a guide around the premises, seeing the tailors and seamstresses, hear about all the celebrities, records held for their measurements. See lots of costumes from your shows, favourite TV and London musicals. Hendon is just up the road so some will go straight to Hendon and the 15 attending Angels will be picked up after their visit and taken to Hendon.

Please keep the expressions of INTEREST emails coming to Carole visits@fleetu3a.org.uk

In order for us to arrange more trips we'd love a couple of volunteers to help 'the team' arrange and guide visits.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Carole
