Newsletters

Our Newsletters (see below) are published and sent out via the u3a Beacon system, on the second Monday in the month after the monthly Committee meeting (which is held on the first Wednesday of each month). The Newsletter is distributed to all members with a valid email address registered in our Membership system. For any members without such email addresses, Group Leaders will draw attention to important notices at group meetings and should, if possible, have a paper copy of the newsletter to hand for reference. We have approximately 110 groups in our U3A in Fleet and group members are encouraged to write a short article for the Newsletter about their group and its activities. Any article can be an individual or group effort and should be no more than 300 words in length, but a paragraph of information can often be enough. Photographs can be included, especially those depicting members engaged in their group activity. 

The deadline for articles is 5 pm on the third Friday of each month - articles and pictures should be submitted to news@fleetu3a.org.uk.   Copyright in any articles or photographs used remains with the member submitting.  Any articles submitted after the deadline are likely to be held over to the following Newsletter.
