We do folk dances from all over the world. It’s fun and a good gentle exercise. The music comes from recordings by folk musicians in the country the dance is from. Partners are not needed. Our group leader, Betty, ably assisted by other members have lots of experience and enjoy introducing new people to lovely dances and folk music.
Do come and join us, all are welcome and we have room for new members. You are most welcome to come and join us for a taster session to see if you like it before making any commitment. We are a friendly group who enjoy folk and national dances from many countries. Most of the dances are circle dances and do not require partners. The dances are taught or revised each session so newcomers are always made to feel welcome. We have fun, listen to lovely music and keep active all at the same time.
