Pilates is a form of exercise which builds your body's core strength and helps to improve posture. This is done through a series of stretching and conditioning exercises. The key principles of Pilates are concentration, centering, control, breath and flow. Staying mobile and strong becomes essential as we get older. It is also important to bring some attention to balance and breathing. All of these things will be included as part of our Pilates classes. This year we have a new timetable with 6 Pilates groups, all for people of mixed abilities and run by professional tutors.
