No expertise needed! This warm and welcoming group just loves exploring and sharing poetry – with each other and more widely when possible. We also like finding out more about the poetry and the poets - from old favourites to new discoveries, from ancient to modern, from Caedmon to Cope, from Haiku to Hip Hop, from the Golden Treasury to the Golden Trashery, from formal verse to free verse and everything in between ... and beyond! We love discovering more about what makes poetry... well, poetry! And discussing meanings and how the poets create them so effectively. Last year, a little more formally, we created and shared a Christmassy anthology and a D-day commemorative tribute programme as well as a podcast. Lots of learning and lots of fun – as well as knowing we created some very poignant moments. This year depends on you and your ideas and contributions!
