The aim of the group is to taste and discuss different wines in a convivial and sociable atmosphere. Previous knowledge of wine is not required and instruction in the techniques of tasting will be given as required. Once in each year a group visit is arranged to a local vineyard or winemaker, usually followed by lunch in a nearby hostelry.
