Meets 2nd Wednesday each month except for July and August.
MOTO 2 had a great year in 2024/25. In addition to our monthly meetings, coffee mornings and regular fortnightly meals in and around Fleet, over the last year we have enjoyed many different activities. We started last U3a year with a boat trip and cream tea with Hobbs from Henley and have had two trips to The Mill at Sonning. We also enjoyed 2 skittles events with the two other MOTO groups.
We had another boat trip earlier this year, this time booked with Epsom travel, in a horse drawn narrow boat on the Kennet and Avon canal, also with a cream tea! Piccies attached. One of our members organises an annual trip to Warner's on the Isle of Wight and another booked our recent visit for wine tasting and lunch at the Penn Croft Winery in Crondall, which is where another of the pictures was taken. Stunning countryside with good walks and delicious wine!
We are now starting to plan our coming 12 months - crazy golf at Junglemania is on the cards.
We have some spaces in the group, so if you would like to join us and be in at the beginning of the year to start planning and organising things you like to do, you are very welcome. Don't forget there are 3 different MOTO groups, all with slightly different activities - something for all members on their own.
