Strollers and Rollers

The clue is in the name. We are a very friendly group of folk who enjoy a stroll. Flexible folk, we meet every two weeks strolling around Elvetham Heath. The choice is yours, short, shorter or just coffee. No laid down rules, just whatever meets your needs. Following our stroll we retreat to the De Havilland pub for coffee, chat and catch up. Everyone is welcome. Inclusion is the name of the game.

The small print.

  • Rollers is part of Fleet U3A’s Outreach programme
    • Outreach is about establishing and maintaining relationships with all its members and the community locally and nationally
    • Outreach often serves as the primary point of contact between the organisation and the public, answering inquiries, providing information and addressing concerns.
    • Outreach aims to ensure all members are able to access the Groups and activities being provided equally.
    • Outreach celebrates equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • A barrier to inclusive travel was identified and Rollers is the solution
    • Rollers always uses an accessible coach so people who find stairs or steps a problem can get on and off with ease, where necessary using a hydraulic bus lift
    • Rollers is for all members of Fleet U3A, if you fancy the destination for the trip just book and come along
  • Bookings and queries to Jenny at outreach@fleetu3a.org.uk
