If you've ever fancied playing a musical instrument but not known where to start or what to play, our beginners' group is for you. We meet for an hour at the Church on the Heath in Elvetham every 2 weeks during the term. There we will show you how to hold and strum a ukulele, how to become self-sufficient in learning new chords and how to have a good time whilst learning! We have a music leader and regular helpers who together will show you what to do and give you all the help you need. Expect to be playing (and singing) your first song during your very first session! You don't need any experience whatsoever and you don't need to read music. You will need an instrument and a couple of accessories, for which we can guide you what to get and where from. Loaner ukuleles are available so you don’t need to rush out and buy one straight away.
