If you like walking, or want to try it, one of our three groups might be for you. The groups are popular, so we sometimes have a waiting list, but do let us know if you’re interested. Most walks begin at 10am on Fridays and we try to make the start no more than a 45 minute drive from Fleet. Our walks are usually in rural areas and, in the winter, mud can be expected on some paths. No special clothing is required, but you will need a pair of boots or shoes designed for walking. Two groups, A and B, undertake walks every two weeks of around 8 to 10 kilometres (5 to 6 miles), taking between 2 and 2½ hours, occasionally with some climbs and often with stiles.
